I'm currently considering the same change from one to two systems and have been testing the trial of Skarlots software. It is superb.

Obviously the keyboard does need to work over the two systems, not just the mouse in an FTL system. Keyclone needs to be aware which session has focus in order to send the correct hotstrings to the other four. The perfomance of an FTL system under these conditions is unknown to me, and to be honest, the inability to trial Keyclone is the only factor holding me back on changing the setup for the time being.

And yes, I know Keyclone is cheap. I licensed one copy already and have no hesitation in buying a second license if everything works well, but I'm not so wealthy I can afford to spend on software that will lie unused should I be unhappy with the result. I like my FTL setup too much to go back to a more "traditional" key repeater.
