Alright, this is about the point where I feel safe enough to post. I may have missed something, knowing me. I just ain't good at looking. D: I've been looking around for about two weeks now, trying to figure out how to get this working the way I need it to.

I have two PC's. Each one is very capable of running WoW twice. I currently 5box on my main machine, without making any use of the other. I want to switch off and use two machines, namely so I can get away with turning the spell graphics up so I can see AOE ranges and so forth (since EVERYTHING is jacked to the lowest possible settings at the moment.) I plan on running two or three copies on the secondary system, depending on how much it can handle. However, I need to do this on as minimal a budget as possible: namely, free if I can pull it off. I have to shell out for 5 copies of Wrath come november and I don't have much money to throw around. D:

Keyclone can connect via IP to itself, so my understanding is that I can just register another copy of Keyclone for the second computer. That's fine by me - the money spent on keyclone is negligible in budgeting. I'm all for tossing keyclone more money, he deserves it anyways. :P

The problem I'm finding is actually the mouse. I've looked around - Synergy, from what I've heard, has some pretty intense problems with camera spinning. Octopus is something I see a lot of people using, but I can't make heads or tails of the available documentation. What I need is a peice of software that will let me move the mouse to the second PC as if it's monitor was a third monitor on the first PC. that's the only functionality I want or need - if keyclone will handle keystrokes, then all that's left is the mouse anyways.

If/when I do get my hands on this software and figure out how to get it working, my last question is about hotstrings and multiple copies of Keyclone. I'm using the FTL setup on my five shamans which are all running on the same system. Does multi-systeming through keyclone effect hotstrings at all, or will I just be able to get away with duplicating the hotstring files to the second system? I would imagine this sort of setup would also entail some slight latency between keypress on machine 1 and signal reciving on machine 2 - is it a noticible delay or is it so smooth I won't notice it?

thanks in advance.
