A little off topic but recently in guild I have been trying to make WOW ties to political candidates.
ie
"Obama is for lowering the number of dailies you can do once you have an epic mount"
"Obama is for guild funded repair bills"
"Palin is the only person that can train you past 375 skinning"
Most of the ones are skewed toward my personal beliefs. I think it is funny and might get people thinking differently.

Ahhh yes, my post was just trying to get a rise out of anyone, its a boring Monday morning here.
I guess more information would be that most of the funding for prop 8 is coming from Utah from the Mormon church's. And the streets I take to get to work here in California have signs on the side of the street with "yes on 8" that are in the same type of advertisements as the ads in the forums. All those ad's are coming from the Mormon Church groups in Utah. Yes people are titled to their opinions and I respect that, but I just hate that people from ANOTHER state are trying to pass a law that bans gay marriage in California. The law in California only affects people in California!! So if a gay couple got married here, the state of Utah does not have to recognize it in their state!

I right-click banners, and select open in a new tab.
I actually went to one of them, but usually just close them all down when I'm done checking this forum, my guild board and emails.
The content of the banner means very little.
If it interests you, check it out.
If it doesn't interest you, its a means to an ends.
And the end result is this excellent site, which is worthwhile.
I'd personally vote to leave the banners up indefinitely.
Not because I want the banners, but because this site is worthwhile.

I was actually going to make a similiar post after seeing the add as well. Since it's the ONLY add that's loading. My personal beliefs aside, I agree with Fur, I've been bomarbarded with this shit enough that I don't want to see it on a gaming site as well. Can we get some Xtenze adds or something?

I would guess that it's because Prop 8 is statewide and one is municipality. We have a bunch of stupid Prop <insert letter here>'s on our ballot in LA proper.
