Thread: Macro, 2 rogues

    Default Macro, 2 rogues

Ok so i'm looking for a way with maybe an addon or a macro that i can cast a different spell with the same macro based on my focus. The effect i want would work if focus was a conditional and i could do

    /cast [focus=player] cheapshot, [focus=party1] ambush

I'm trying to make it so that when i hit the button, whichever rogue i'm playing on will cast cheap shot, while the other one will cast ambush. And my focus for both characters is always whichever character i am currently using as my lead. Any easy way to do this or am i just gonna have to learn to use a different key when i'm on each player?

/cast [target=focustarget, harm] ambush; [harm] cheapshot

    try that.

might be easier if you do key mapping. i.e. if you hit 1 on your active window, you'r off window will get a 2. as far as macro go, i don't think it'll work well.

Putting this macro in use will only make the rogues having each other as focus. Because the macro's will have absolutely no idea whether you pressed the key on window1 or window2, making them both execute the macro and putting each other as focus. New idea is needed here.

As someone said before, swapping windows are probably bind to some key, like F12 or wherever you may have put it. On that very same button you use to swap, put an ingame focus macro for the respective character/windowswapping-key.
