Ramparts Run with multiclass boxer - any suggestions???

Well, the obvious answer is just to not kill the other bosses.

They don't give very much experience, and if you can get to them you don't need to loot .

When I was grinding ramparts (60-65?-66) I started skipping the last two bosses even with a shaman group simply because they were not worth the time - Sometimes I would kill Omor, but Nazan/Rider is just a waste of time.

Well finally finished ramps and cleared all the bosses. For omor i simply let my tank twiddle his fingers and occasionally throw his captain america shield to get aggro on the little fiends that he spawns. was pretty much ezmode this way. But what really surprised me was how easy the dragon was after watching that learn2ramps vid posted earlier.

All i did was get as close to the 2 guards without aggro'ing them and then as the dragon flew around just dps'ed him with my mages. Admittley it took around 5 mins coz of mages range and having to wait for him to fly around, but as soon as he had 1hp left i initiated the fight with the 2 guards. Once the 2 guards were down, the dragon landed and the rider came charging me, because i took a little longer taking the 2 guards down and healing up b4 i started fighting them, the dragon had regen'ed around 2k hp - nothing compared to the damage of 1 fireball. So after 1 fireball from my mages, dragon died and i was left to solo the rider. Rider was a peice of cake on his own and he dropped real quickly. Doing it this way i avoided the WHOLE fire problem and my clothies didnt even take a point of dmg. This is definatley the way to go to down that guy.

For the above poster, i wanted to complete the ramparts quest which required drops from each boss.

Anyhow was quite a productive run, which took around 60 - 90 mins ( i did wipe on some trash coz taladaga nights was on T.V and managed to get my attention for some time :P) and managed to get 3 new items for my pally on 1 run!!! woo.

Thankyou everyone that contributed to this post as it was a godsend after running ramps the first time and just being utterly frustrated!!!

I run Paladin, shaman, mage, mage, resto druid

First boss: As you said cake

2nd boss Omor:
He is perma-rooted - don't tank him it's a waste - spread your guys out around him in a half circle - I use 4 in a semi-circle around him, and then my paladin a bit back and between two guys

Make 2 macros

Put this on your dps guys (and your paladin can cast exorcism as well - he's a demon):

/target omor
/target <name of those guys he summons>
<your dps spell/rotation of choice>

Put this on your healer:

/assist omor
/cast some heal or other

(if mana is a problem for your healer, put this macro on your paladin as well, and round robin your paladin and your healer)

Now sit back and smash your fist on these two buttons until omor falls over. It really is that simple

For Healing, i use an addon called Clique and Hotkeynet's mouse hook, so basically Shift Rclick on party member on main and priest will heal that party member. So i got Shift Left Click to do greater heal, shift right click for quick heal, alt left click for priests bubble and alt right click for renew

Please explain this. I'm intrigued.

Its a matter of setting up your party bar in the exact same place and order on all clients and using hotkeynet to broadcast right/left/middle clicks which are set to cast skills in clique.

Works very well allowing you to heal anyone without breaking the main's target to having excessive healing macros for each character.

Only problem I've run into is when I dont get put in the same party in battlegrounds, I'm sure there is a way around this though I just haven't played with it much.
