Why are you dieing? Are the mobs too high level? Is your tank not holding aggro?

Certainly your toon management needs some work. You have all the tools you just to execute it better. Practice makes perfect.

Regarding the issues you are having with your windowed screens

1. are you setting up maximizer with keyclone?
2. The screen locking up might have to do with "focus follows mouse". Under General unclick Focus follow mouse and see if this helps. the downside is you will have to click on the window now to get it to register any keystrokes.

The reason why your priest just spins might have to do with you keeping your movement button down while you switch to the next window. If you hold down say turn left and switch windows the left turn will stay locked on and the toon will spin around until you hit left turn again.
