There isnt really a set level. It's all relative to your gear and healing abilities and your boxing skill. Best way to figure that out is try it

Yup, experiment. I have died a lot trying to figure out what I can and can't do. I read a bost earlier about a guy that wiped 16 times on last boss in Ramparts before getting him down. That is one of the cool things about boxing, you get to do things singles really can't even think about. Experiment, have fun.
