since blink does have a cooldown and follow has no cooldown you can just add the follow on the slave's macro. you will get error messages saying that the spell is not ready yet. but so what?
#showtooltip blink
/cast blink
/follow party1
Cool idea :)
This works well (as I have it for control of my 5 mages), but be aware that when your slaves blink then immediately try to follow, are far as they are concerned (due to latency) they are ahead of the leader and will turn around and go backwards a little bit. This can sometimes be a problem if you are trying for a goodly distance between you and some mob, or just trying to speed yourself somewhere without a mount. The only solution I have to this at this stage is a little patience between hitting the blink macro the first and second times.#showtooltip blink
/cast blink
/follow party1

You might include a stopmacro if a mod is pressed in conjunction with the macro.
Like...
/cast Blink
/stopmacro [mod]
/follow
So click with mod or without, and it executes blink either way.
But if alt, ctrl or shift is down, when you click the macro, it ends the macro after the blink and before the /follow.
