Okay, so I just finished up yet another eots loss (see the other thread about battlegroups sucking.) This time around, we lost entirely because the alliance team had 6 priests, all of which were discipline. They weren't organized or anything, but they were in full merc gear (something I'm grinding for, myself.) The problem is that a single disc priest is capable of holding up a level -68- hunter through my damage bursts. I was just curious as to when I was going to be going about actually out-damaging a single healer's heals - what the goal numbers were, if you will. This is with a totem of wrath and flametounge weapon active. The master toon has recieved some bits and peices of kara and/or gruul's loot as I've been invited to PVE with people I've known for a while, so he's a little better off than the rest.
Master/Slaves
Spell damage: 629/605
Spell crit: 17.07/15.87
HP: 7836/7656
Resil: 169/197
Peices of gear that I *have* are the s2 shield, gloves, and shoulders. The leader also has s1 pants and a kara belt. Aside from that they all have HH rings, 5-minute PVP trinket, Vengence of the Illidari, and it's all greens from there, not counting rep-set blues.
At what point do you start actually noticing the gear helping you win games and/or fights you otherwise wouldn't have made it through? Additionally, aside from honor grinding, are there any easily-obtainable peices of gear for the neck, cape, bracers, or boot slots that don't involve badges or honor to grab?
