Non heroic Botanica 5 dps

This seems to be working better than i thought it would. i'm 2/2 for non heroic lvl 70 dungeons with my 5 caster dps team. botanica was way easier than MgT though. and yay i hit revered finally on my main mage, so now i can farm this place for rep for the helm enchants on my other 3.

oh and this video is just boss fights only, so i dont bore you all with the trash (which actually was more fun than the boss fights in some cases, loving my aoe knockbacks on all 5 chars)

I'm baffled. Good job making it, but I'm still baffled.
1) You've specced elemental oath on your shaman while having a moonkin = waste of 2 talentpoints.
2) You started combusting with scorch, but that changed later, so nothing to say there I guess.
3) You have talents that require microing, but you don't use them.

well, i'm still learning the combo of this team really.. pre 3.0 i was arcane power/pyro 33/18 or whatever on my 3 mages, and the boomkin was really a waste, with no aoe, and the shaman didn't really do much either, just followed around and if i ever got a chance to stand still she'd do chain lightning/lb spam but it was more just dead weight following the mages spamming ae/blastwave, and now all 3 classes have an aoe, that knocks back too! but still the druid and shaman end most pvp fights with way more mana left over than the mages. i need to make more macros to heal with them cause they're pretty useless so far, i'd rather have 5 mages to be honest (for pvp)

but as for pve, i love the res on both chars, and wipe recovery sorta on both too. i sometimes use the treants, not as often as i should being a 3 minute cooldown... but i really dont need them except on boss fights.

and whats wrong with elemental oath? it seems to stack with boomkin aura, i see it proc a lot so i'm just assuming of course. after most instances i clear, i'm sitting at 50+ crit chance on all 5 chars main spells i cast, so i dont see a problem with more crit

example, just finished my first attempt at Mechanar, it was ugly but i did it, wiped on the end boss the first time, but downed him rather fast without heroism or fire elemental my 2nd try, just wasn't in position for the first try. Abby's crit with scorch after the full instance was average 55%, my main mage was 60% crit with scorc, 66% with pyroblast, 68% pyroblast on debby, 50% scorch. Delanorra's lightning bolt was only 29% but her gear is pretty weak.

so i dunno if they stack for sure or not but it seems like it does, maybe its the times my druid pops out of boomkin to cast a heal that i notice the buff the most, i'll have to pay more attention.

and as for the micromanagement of Hotstreak and a few other talents, i use them mostly in pvp, Hotstreak makes a visual effect and a sound when it procs, so i can tell when it happens on any mage, so i am launching instant pyro's a lot in pvp but pve its a little more tricky as i'm usually stationary, and if i push my button to launch pyro and hotstreak is only proc'd on 1/3 mages then the other 2 start casting a 5 second pyro....which actually is less dps than just spamming scorch/fireblast.

when i get the scorch glyph for my mages i'll switch my spec up a little and just cast 1 scorch at the start after the opening pyro and then spam fireball (with the 2 piece t4 set bonus to remove pushback)

most bosses i open up with scorch just to spam all 5 chars dps, but the ones i think i'll have a problem with killing them before they kill me i open with 3 pyros. i'm still trying to learn what the highest party dps castsequences are but i'm happy the combo so far. i'll be trying Arcatraz as soon as i can get the key for there, and then move on to some other lvl 70 instances. its just for fun really, i have 2 lvl 70 prot pallys i could use im just lazy and dont feel like setting up the macros until i find a good mod like trinity again.

I'm afraid Elemental Oath isn't intended to stack with Moonkin Aura.
