Boosting w/ RAF. A bit confused...

I have researched RAF.

My plan is to RAF 4 new accounts, and start out with 5 level 1s, and go from 1-60 with 300% exp.

Now i see people saying something about boosting, and the 3x exp, which i dont really understand. They said you have to have an unlinked account with a 70 pally/mage on it or soemthing.

I have a 70 pall7, but it is on the account i plan on RAFign on. so i guess i can just settle for the 300% exp which is still great.

Leveling up 5 characters as a group works just fine, but if you want to boost heres what i did. apparently the ability to boost with a 70 main could be removed at anytime as well btw (just parroting what ive heard here), so keep that risk in mind

Z = your main account
X = friends account
A,B,C,D = new alt accounts
-> = referal link

Z = unlinked
X->A->B->C->D

as Z can't be linked to characters your boosting, this way allows you to alteast give the gifted levels generated on account A plus the mount to a friend where as otherwise they wouldn't exist as A would have no referer. Friend doesn't actually play a part in your leveling but but it's just capitalizing on free stuff, not really the end of the world if you don't have account A with a referer

Then I boosted like this:


1 set of 4 characters 1-60 (set a) (about a 15 hour time investment, pre 3.0)
1 set of 4 characters 1-31 (set b) (sub 5 hour time investment, pre 3.0)
accounts D,C,B gift up the set b characters on accounts C,B,A

end result is 7 level 60s in under 1 day played, so you get your 5man group and 2 bonus guys plus your friends account gets 60 raf levels and a mount. Then just do a paid transfer of one of the new characters over to your main (Z) account
