Oh well, I made plenty of gold with shards. I totally screwed up the market of shards on our server tho. I sold a total of 400 large prismatic shards in 3 days now. Cba to grind more. All in all I prolly grinded for about 6-7 hours in 3 periods. Still, made a nice buck!

Whats the best way to sell these shards? I am not having any luck on my server. It seems like every hour someone is undercutting. It just continues down until they are listed for next to nothing. How many shards in a stack do you sell?

Just sell loads, if AH price is 8g per shard, I just sell 100 for 600-700 gold and spam trade. Find a victim and make him promises of riches and gold as there will never be cheaper shards available.

Keeping the shards wont do you much good anyways. I expect Greater Planar to rise when wotlk hits and the ensueing months, but I doubt very much void/lps will rise. If anything, they'll hover around 5-6g and stay there.

why do you believe that?
i also think planar essences will rise due to less people in outlands. right now, pretty much green in outland gets turned into planar essences and arcane dust. once people skip half of outlands to enjoy northrend, less folks will be getting level 60-ish gear. supply and demand.

My 3 day total is 1172 gold from this. For you people who are having issues selling the voids....Do what I do. I look on the ah, if there are alot of voids, I turn some them into large pris shards. If there are alot of large pris shards...this is the uber part. I turn them into Mongoose scrolls. Nobody on the server can come close to my prices. Since I have all the mats I sell them from 250-300g. And they sell faster then the individual shards or voids. They are priced to sell ect. For example yesterday....I sold 11 of these Mongoose scrolls within an hour.

I have been selling a combo of shards and scrolls. I don't have mongoose ( wish I did ) but have sold tons of savagery and exceptional stats.

The price for LPSs will go up in the future. People are changing trades or starting new ones, and its the cost of skilling up that makes old world mats go up like they do. Also, since most the outland enchants help to enchant level 35+ twinks, that will help make the price rise. Since people will be farming outlands mats less.

I have made over 3k farming the invasion spawns. I still have half the shards i got. Ill save them 8)
