How to make money, tons of it [scourge event 1400g in 4 hours]

Well, they have made these mistakes in the past, however I usually was too late with these kind of things in the past and they got hotfixed. :P

Guilt? No. The market is already destroyed by all the bank sellers in anticipation of WotLK. Endgame is making a shift, and just like back when 60-70, prices are AWOL at the moment. That's why I suggest selling low, quick and big amounts, or keep the shards a few months and hope they'll be orth more once wotlk market balances. However, Large Brilliant Shards never got expensive, Greater Eternal did, but this is about farming epics so, yeah, get rid of the shards asap. Always someone thinking to make a buck if you sell like 200 LPS's for 7g a piece or cheaper then anything on the AH anyhow. Tbh, they probably won't, because by the time they got rid of the 200 shards, it will be a few months from now. :P

Normally Blizz fixes these kinda things within a few days, I find it remarkable this hasn't changed yet in all honesty.

How long the invasion going? I would like to gear up my next team if it lasts a few more days ( they are almost 70 )

Anyone else noticed or had problems with the shadows only dropping runes now?
Have been farming the shadows alot and all I get now is runes - relying on the rare random spawns for the epics

the droprate for shadows to drop an epic is also abotu 30%, it;'s been like that since the start.

Way too many people online on our server to do this. Every span camp is zerged by either Ally or Horde and you get to kill 1 mob a minute if you are extremely lucky. As for the Shadows, people just crowd around it as soon as it spawns, ready to tag it.

I've farmed it quite a lot, stick with me kid. :P

Also one thing I found out last night, the "Haunted Mementos" you get sometimes randomly from mobs (they're unique but not BoP) - DONT THROW THEM AT PEOPLE. I've sold 3 of them on the AH for 300g each! I got all 3 in like an hour, probably would have gotten more but I didn't realize they were unique so I'm guessing some of my clones didn't loot some.

I didn't get to do this at all last night, hopefully I'll get to tonight and I can still DE everything, I need 5x epic flyers!!

What do you use these for that makes them worth so much? I just thought they were trash, please elaborate.

I imagine people want them for the "vanity pet" haunt that will follow you around. Why they would pay that much for them I have no idea, but if they will I will gladly supply them. Past two nights I've been able to clear out 2 sites solo (solo being my 5 and a hunter friend, no people crashing our party) in about an hour getting 7 shadows each site. I'm also getting the mementos for alts, since its a pretty neat pet.

I have to undersell in large quantities, hoping for a fool that thinks he can get a nice profit from reselling it. Just sold 200 Large Prismatic Shards at 6g a piece. Normal AH prices dropped from 12-14 to 9-12 already in two days time. Market is flooded with the crap. :P

I think I will hang on to mine until the price is right. I actually like when markets get flooded since I have had a good time at getting things when they bottom out and selling when they peak again. I think that we will eventually see a rise in Outlands enchanting mats after Wrath is out for a bit. With a slew of new characters, some who will be DK enchanters, there is going to be a demand for prismatics. Most people are going to rush to Northrend and never look back and those are going to be the same people that buy up all the stock of mats. it may not be a fast buck, but at this point I can wait until 77 to worry about getting my epic fliers. Besides, I've never regretted having an entire bank full of enchanting mats, esp when they are as easy to get as these are. The only painful part is watching your entire stockpile disappear as you level tailoring or enchanting.
