Default Will I regret this [team]?

I just started dual-boxing yesterday, and I LOVE it so far. However, the team I chose consists of a priest and a mage. So far it's gone well, but then again I'm only L9.

What I'm wondering is, is it a bad idea to stick with this team? Should I perhaps go to dual shamans or something like that, or will I do fine?

    Thanks

Oh, and by the way, this community is great. Extremely friendly and helpful so far.

    Default teams

Team make-ups are fun and challenging. There is no correct combo for a team its what you the player wants to try. Ive done shaman and holy pally always nice for that bubble. Done priest warrior once again great dps and a heal button for a non healing class. Then done rogue druid always fun to be able to use stealth on both chars. So basically its what you think would be a great combo ive always found as long as you team consists of a healer you cant go wrong cause you will always get into situations that consist of being healed. Like now im doing 5 boxing shammies and 5 boxing hunters. Shammies way way over-powered, and on the other hand so isnt 5 hunters. So in your question mage priest is a really good combo you have cc heals and if you spec shadow your dps will be insane for the long haul.
They say spiders have 8 legs well i guess im a rare and unimaginable specimen. Ive got 9 legs and my web comes from that 9th leg. HaHa.

It may be easier to start with 2 of the same toons. Shamans, Mages. I use Hunters because of the pets and I really like Hunters. It will make it much easier to set up for a beginer because you can drop all the spells in the same spot.

If you do that all you have to decide is what actions you may want to round robin.

I round robin concusive shot and traps that way I dont waste any actions.

I also have been experimenting with a Pally/Mage combo but its hard getting them to do the things you want at the same time.

My two cents - casters are easy to box. Controlling more than one melee is the only thing that's unnecessarily difficult in terms of team composition.

My first team was a mage and priest and it worked out great. A mage with a healer is a monster in any regular group content. I used to stand in there and AOE kill 10 mobs at a time to farm scryer rep when I was 70. Not kiting AOE, but just flat out arcane explosion spam. Quick and easy.

You are so right. The closest thing to easy for melee is using a pet.
