Razor Lachesis mouse
Razor Tarantula keyboard

There is nothing better. PERIOD.....
eh, i've tried razer mice but i'm more of a "claw" man myself, which just doesn't feel quite right with razer mice. i've got a logitech G9 right now.... LOVE it. not for everyone i know, but it has everything i need and use, nothing more, nothing less.

i also have a razer tarantula, which is what i used prior to the sidewinder x6. VERY good keyboard as far as quality goes, i really love it, but the thing is massive and the macro keys just aren't quite as accessible/usable. plus the multimedia keys took a bit of tweaking to get them to work just how i wanted-- and knob > buttons imo. one huge improvement with the sidewinder is that you can actually CREATE macros on the go with it, rather than just swap macro profiles. push a button, push the macro button you want to use, and push the buttons you want it to press, then push the first button again and BAM, you have a new macro. i haven't really experimented much with this feature, but i was able to make a few macros in counter strike on-the-fly that were pretty useful.
I guess I was referring to the preformance from the mouse and keyboard I have. It's super fast, much faster then most keyboards, and I know most will say that .5 secs doesnt really matter but guess what.... it does to me...

The keyboard is super smooth, nice buttons, great construction. When you pick it up you feel like you bought a german version of a keyboard.

I never was a fan of the media keys. I don't really use any of those keys that much. I was just going for a good keyboard. the extra keys are nice but not essential for me. I don't need many buttons as most of my buttons do 3 things anyway.

The mouse is super sexy. Again its like buying a german made mouse. The mouse takes some time getting used to because like all razor mice they are not like others. They have the laser in the back of the mouse instead of the front for faster spins which translates into wrist pain for most that can't adjust to its style.

The razor product is not for everyone however if you look at the reviews most hardcore gamers swear by their products.

When I got my first limited edition boomslang back in the day I was banned from using it in tournies because it was an unfair advantage. I had a mouse with 2000 dpi and everyone else had 500 at best.
