Default Will this work, and is it worth it?

    I have a 70 Rogue on Account 1.
    I have a 70 Paladin on Account 2.
Great CPU that should handle 2 WoW programs with a breeze.

Then set up their action bars the same where they will both do damage with the same buttons.

    My questions are...

If you put your toons in the same exact spot, then open keyclone, your toons should move at the same pace correct? I dont see the need in doing follow or assist macros.

Will it be faster to level both toons from 70-80 together, or should i just do seperate?

No sorry. Your movement will go out of sync. You need to uses follow which meens you run in to troble with both your toons being melee. Running with more then one melee toon is very hard.

You could use you pally as a healer/buffer. you would need to bind keys to macros to heal party1 -> heal party5. I think it would be quicker to dual-box them to 80 then then leveling both solo to 80. But if your after getting one to 80 as quick as possable level one solo.

^^ What he said. Due to lag you'll get out of sync very quickly, and since you're running melee, /follow macros will be very helpful for getting a follower to face the desired direction. IMO go prot with the paladin and use that as the "main" so that you can have the mob facing the main with the rogue stabbing the mob in the back for max dps. You would just run through the mob on the paladin until his back is to the rogue.

if i do decide to level both from 70-80 at the same time, when i accept a quest with the main, will the other toon accept the quest also. or i could just share it i guess?

I may do as one of you said, let my rogue be my main, and my pally will just follow and buff/heal so it can be nonstop action since my rogue will never die.

then i would just have to have 3 empty slots on my rogues action bar for - /follow - /buff - /heal

    correct?

thanks much for your help guys.

There will be some quests you can't share, thats where addons come in, I use multiboxer v2 addon (soon to be checking out Jamba) and I just open the dialog on each toon and click through on 1 toon and all the others do the same.

Welcome Taybox! You are at a stage of multiboxing that each question you get answered will lead to five more questions. There are some great addons like Jamba that will do all you are asking, and there is a massive section on how to make the right macros for the right situations. What will help you most is to read the Wiki, all of it. Use the Search feature and browse the sections that will help you most (i.e. Addons, Movies, etc.).

Taking the time to do this will not only give you a good foundation for multiboxing it will also keep you from raising the ire of the veterans of this site who aren't very patient with those who aren't willing to do a bit of background work for themselves, especially since many of them laid the ground work that we all get to enjoy.
