Despite being heavilly Arcane, the spec uses Frostbolt and Ice Lance as it's work horse spells, mana efficiency and max damage per cast is the focus. Variant of my old mage's raid spec.


Warlock (54/0/17) - Affliction

This build should provide really good Shadow Bolt spam, in addition to great DoTs. A variant of the classic raid spec SM/Ruin that I used to use in the original Naxx, BWL, etc.

I found Holy to be the primary spec for a priest in a 4-5 box setup. For two-boxing with a melee though, I prefer Disc for its great single target buffs/debuffs/healing abilities. Two-boxing with a warlock is fun as shadow for the DoT setup, even though the debuffs no longer help the lock.

Hor why would you get enhancing totems and better shields in Enhancement instead of the ghost wolf and 45 percent shock spell reducitons. You don't use shocks? (and no reverberation on the elemental side?).

First, you have to understand the team is tank and 4 Ele Shamans for 90% PVE. Since it's mostly PVE there's no need for imp Ghost Wolf, if I were running a 5 Shaman team, then I'd definitely get Imp Ghost Wolf, but since I'm waiting on the DKs mount to cast anyway ... might as well use a mount on the Shamans too. So in short, I never use Ghost Wolf, I don't think I've ever even cast it on this team. Enhanced Totems, this was actually a miss click, I meant to put the points into Elemental Weapons for increased spell damage on Flametongue Weapon. As for my use of Shocks, I DO use shocks. Particularly I use Flame Shock, and since I've got the Glyph for it I don't need to cast it over and over again, I just let the dot tick and blast away. I keep Earth Shock around for interrupts. When I'm doing quest grinding I just do 4 Earth Shocks and the mob's dead... by the time I have a new target cooldown is over. So I haven't seen a need for Reverberation. To put it simply, Lightning Bolt, Lava Burst, and Chain Lightning are my bread and butter. I don't spam shocks, I use them judiciously.
