Default WotLK group setup - need your opinion - Thanks

    Hello,

I have several possibilities (as per my signature) of my main 5 group running towards level 80. Alhough I currently 10 box I will only do it again at level 80 being leveling one group the main priority.

The toon missing here is my warlock which will be lvl 70 by the 13th and will have hopefully did at least a couple of kara/za raids.

I'm tempted to make the following group:

    protection paladin
    2 elemental shaman
    1 warlock
    1 resto shaman

The reason for the warlock is mainly the +10% of the CoE. What is your opinion on that, Is it worth sacrifying a by far better geared elem shaman?

    Thanks in advance

    why not the moonkin?
Well, I love my team, and it seems to me you have enough experience to make this decision on your own :)
Currently not boxing, info below is not really relevant.

Personally I'm taking a moonkin. That 13% from Earth and Moon rocks and DPS is quite respectable regardless. If it were me I'd swap in the moonkin for the warlock, but I also suck with warlock's so I'm biased.

Thank you both for your feedback. It's never enough to ask for opinions I think, specially when you hesitate .

I got both and the moonkin is by far better geared both for feral and balance.

In my raids, the moonkin isn't a great dpser (mine, this is not theorycrafting oc ). My sequence is quite defensive, with both Insect Swarm and IFF on opener and then sequences of wraths and starfires with no Moonfire spam, just using it's duration and repeating (maybe that's the problem but I need more sustained dps and less burst due to lack of gear overall). Never tried with a warlock though so I cannot compare.

boomkins are actually extremely high dps at the moment, in our Hyjal/BT clears a moonkin is #1 on the charts followed closely by hunters and ret paladins (ignoring AOE trash, just boss fights). I am highly tempted as well to make this my 70-80 comp:

    prot pally or prot warr
    2x ele shamans
    1x mage
    1x boomkin

I currently run 4x ele shaman + prot pally, but also have a 70 mage, 70 warrior, and 61 druid so just deciding which way to go. I want to use a mage because tables + portals is just OP for moving around, plus mages are just fun all around for me. Can't really decide whether an extra ele shamans grounding/mana totem is better than a boomkins aura. ugh

Also second team is gonna be the other tank, 2-3 deathknights, a druid, and a rogue probaby -- dunno when I would actually get to them though
