Default Thoughts on major revamp, most of the wiki assumes 3-5 shaman group.

When I read through the wiki, most of the articles are written from a perspective that almost assumes you have 3-5 shamans in your group.

I'd like to start a discussion on rewriting certain sections, specifically dealing with tactics. Dividing this info up into sections with notes on group composition and whatnot.

IMO, if it's a wiki it's free game to revamp.

The reason why most people write stuff from the perspective of a 4+ shaman 'boxer is... well... because that's what the most of the community is running. If you have a more neutral perspective, feel free to edit as appropriate. Go for it.

It's a wiki. Information is always available in the 'revisions' section.

I have a Wiki question. The paladin hasn't been updated since 3.0. I don't want the original composer to think I'm a punk for blowing it up, but I think I am about to :/ Granted WotLK comes out in a few days and thing will change as people level, but I'd like for the core info to at least be right. Any thoughts? Blessings?

If it's incorrect/outdated, it should most definitely be fixed

The whole point of a Wiki us that users are free to update it. If info is outdated, and the originator hasn't gone in to update it, its not their place to get mad when someone comes along and does.

Yep, I'm just a generally diplomatic person. I will try to update as time permits over the next few days.

    This.

By all means, edit any page on the wiki without asking for the author's permission. If you don't want people to step on what you've done, make note of it in the "notes" section on that page and hopefully people will be respectful. However, it's a wiki. Expect there to be updates. It's the way it works.
