    Default just hit 60 and got thunderstorm :O

    i know every1 who plays shammys or multibox shams probably got their thunderstrom as soon as it came out being a high level already XD but without RaF and my very limited attention span (ganking overrules questing) it has taken SOME TIME to finally hit lev 60, but i was VERY impressed with thunderstorm! its already saved my life a good 100 times thanks to org being zombie infested, but i cant seem to shake the feeling that this spell is going to get nerfed, or changed so to make it harder for multiboxers somehow this is why:

    first off its got a 45 second CD i thought it would have been 3 mins or something being such a good spell but apparetly not
    second its instant cast WITH knockback WITH damage

    i realise this is like mage's fireblast but i cant shake the feeling something is going to be changed to it (maybe its cos its just a new spell and they are yet to finish tweaking with it maybe?) anyway it seems to do fairly high damage i dunno maybe im just being paranoid as to what blizzard will do, and i dont want to lose what i just got lol

    well back to enjoying av with knockbacks! =D

    well looks like i wont be enjoying warcraft for a while after just discovering theres a nice queue to get in frostmourne is usually queue free

    For a 51pt talent it's actually kind of a joke.

    Don't get me wrong, Thunderstorm is a great skill.

    But from a solo point of view, in terms of utility at level 70, the Thunderstom keeps melee away at best a good 2-3 seconds, the damage is lower then lb or cl, it's instant, but you replace it for NS anyhow. the mana back isn't really battle descisive either.

    From a multiboxer perspective it's somewhat more decent, as you can round robin it. But even then, 45 seconds for a faulty cc and somewhat minor aoe (that has a 31350 damage cap. *sniff*) it's actually a crappy 51pt talent.

    But yeah, multiboxers can utilize it better, I still miss my em+ns+cl though. That was well more imba however speccing for it now would cost 20 points in stuff you dont want. :s

    Actually, I can see it hurting fighing any mobs that can charge/intercept in PvE or warriors in PvP (also, boar pets).

    It's a lot of fun if you can rotate it out (i.e. multiboxers) but my opinion is that Thunderstorm and Disperssion (Shadow Priest 51 point talent) are almost completely useless outside of PvP. Even PvP doesn't seem like that much use.

    I think its quite decent - kind of brings me back to the 3 minute mages of pre-BC...

    5x elemental mastery + 5x thunderstorm is pretty much enough to kill every single person/mob (non-boss) within 12 yds of you.

    Like I said, as a multibox we have some utility for it.

    But as far as the skill goes, it's still not enough for any solo elemental shaman. I also have a solo shaman and really, against ALL melee classes, TS saves you about 2-3 seconds before you get owned. So as far as the skill goes, it is by far, not imbalanced.

    The fact we can round robin it 4/5 times makes it good, but that's it. Elemental shamans are still the single most nerfed class in endgame pvp at the moment.

    All melee classes can counter one TS.

    Warrior -> Intercept Hamstring = dead
    Ret Paladin -> Dispel + JoJ and boots speed enchant = dead
    Rogue -> Crippling, stuns, shadowstep, CloS, so many stuff = dead
    Druid -> Shapeshift out of slows, feral charge = dead

    Enhancement shamans can actually be kited, the one melee class Thunderstorm is effective against is another shaman.

    So seriously, it's a joke for a 51pt talent. We need CC similar to poly/cyclone/hoj or anti cc abilities, going ghost wolf removes snares/slows etc for example.

    Anyhow, for a multiboxer it has potential, but as far as I know, blizzard doesn't balance classes based on multiboxers.

    I was really impressed with how easy TS made all the heroics as 5 shaman groups, just dropping an earthbind combined with rotating TS whenever the melee gets back in range makes all the trash pulls very, very easy. Like, I can do the ~6 mobs skulker/brusier pulls before fireheart in HM MrT using only 2-3 TS per pull and kill everything and take zero damage

    For BGs/Arena, imo, it honestly feels OP with 5x shaman. I can't imagine also having the nova stun and hex to play with

    How do you all round robin it? The only time I really need it is when I have melee on me and coincidentaley that is the same time in which 1+ of my characters are stunned. Is there a way for round robin to display which client it is qued upf or next?

    A 45 second cd makes it unspammable and not very useful in PvP at all. It's also trinketable. Seriously it's not even remotely close to any of the skills I written. :P
