My team is on Blackhand as well.
Who are you? Well we don't have a formal name, but the guild calls us Team 5 box. (*wonders why he chose the pronoun "us" when he plays all the characters*) Currently, I have Maxel (70 Prot. Paladin), Lanon (70 Holy Priest), Grifften (70 Aff. Warlock), Levin (70 Arc. Mage), Levinor (70 Arc. Mage) (working on Talanon 66 Bal. Druid). I also have a set of 4 shaman alt's I've been working on who are collectively stuck at 25 outside SM. After boosting the mages, I'm having a hard time bringing myself back to SM to boost more levels.
I started off originally about 4 months after live release boxing the core 3; Paly, Priest, Lock. It was a ton of fun, but just couldn't get past the hump of a few instances. Especially, before the addition of Keyclone (God Bless you good sir). I then added the Mages on after TBC started and have never regretted the decision.
What do you do? I software box using Keyclone on 2 pc's. My focus is all PVE and very rarely if ever do I engage in PVP. Lately however, I've just been wasting time waiting for the xpac.
Why do you do? I find it much more relaxing to play my own team. I've been boxing various games starting with EQ back in oh what was it, 98? I loathed picking the "wrong" class mentality. You know, the one everyone plays that can rarely get groups. I like variation too much and with boxing, I'm completely able to do different, albeit often slower, things and enjoy the similarities as well as differences amongst the classes. I also dislike taking 20 minutes to get a group going and suddenly someone has to log because they forgot to do their homework. Further, I'm perfectly content with my own humiliation of failure and satisfaction of success and don't need the Xbox Live kiddies (no offense to the younger crowd) screaming at me for mistakes.
That's me in a nutshell. We should all rally and hit a few instances / raids together sometime. Could be good fun.
Hit me up on Maxel in game.
