Yeah, whirlwind is just insane. It drops my guys in seconds. Talk about OP.Originally Posted by 'Anemo',index.php?page=Thread&postID=144883#post14 4883
It sure is. Its fun watching my mages drop like flies. And don't give me any of this "squishy" nonsense. Yes they may be squishy but they have 10k hp and 250ish res, they shouldn't die in less than 5 seconds and No I'm actually not exaggerating.Originally Posted by 'cherzra',index.php?page=Thread&postID=145272#post 145272
The best way I have found to deal with whirlwind is to set up 2 keybindings. First will have two of your guys straf left and 2 strafe right and main foward. The second will have the 2 that went right turn left and opposite for the other 2. Doing this will split up your team and turn them towards each other. You will probably have 2 end up dead but you will be in a good possition to kill the warrior and it's better than your whole team dead. Whirlwind is only 8 yards so you dont have to straf far.

Is there a wiki or some info on strafing macros that someone might be able to point me to? I'm having a bit of trouble setting this up.Originally Posted by 'Smoooth',index.php?page=Thread&postID=145449#post 145449
Thanks
If I see a warrior about to charge me, I go for broke, drop 4 nova totems (5 seconds now so will prob go off just after he reaches me), LB then CL then Shock. His charge will only interupt 1 guy while the other 3 unleash. I DO NOT bother to try to heal through it anymore, just dps the fucker down asap so the pain stops, heal afterwards lol. These days I tend to drop them after 2 spins.
Another method is to thunderstorm during that small window between charge and bladestorm. This will punt him away, land spinning and have no fast way to close the gap while you nuke him.
OR you could go completely defensive and just /target self /cast lesser healing wave, and just spam that til it stops. then punt, nova and heal again (he will intercept back in to get stunned by novas, giving you 2 seconds to heal).
OR, when he starts spinning, press and hold a spread macro. So 2 guys go left, 2 go right (if ur a 5 boxer) while 1 guy goes forward. He will have to choose and will probably stick with the person he charged at the start (your lead). Everyone can then spam heals on the person he goes after then nuke when safe. Best start I have used imo has been t just spread out so he only hurts one person. Same as when a pally bubbles, spread and heal whoever he goes after, don't let them aoe you.
