Mages at 80

I was just looking at new talents and spells and I see the new lvl80 mage talent is mirror image. http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?spell=55342
Now with with current lvl80 arc mages dominate and that will most likely get nerfed. I was thinking of the of four frost spec mages plus healer. That would mean 4mages,4elementles,12images, and 1healer for three min. This seems to me that it could dominate if done right and I was just wanting to get some input before I started my team. I currently run 4xshaman and love it, but playing one class tends to get old.

It depends on what happens at 80.

From my experience in arena, at the high end teams are highly defensive. they would let you pop your 3min of invisibility and run away. Then what do you do? Your soft and you cant really afford to let them open up on you.

Its possible, and with the new arenas that encourage straight out dps fights, you might actually do well given the right arena and teams.

Whenever you do something new, you have to realize...NOBODY knows. My guess is as good as yours....It sounds fun, maybe I should roll mages next
