I used "junction" to link all 4of my slave WOW folders to my main folder (on D:, so it isn't on the Windows drive) and this helped a ton. I mean, a TON. I couldn't play AV before but now it's doable. My performance in Shatt improved much as well and loading zones on all 5 chars is a lot quicker too.

Using function should be in a sticky at the top of the forum as I didn't read it in any of the wiki guides

I will look into the Vista and SSD options later on if needed, but for now I am so much happier.
can you explain how you did that or link to a guide explaining? I too lag a whole bunch in shatt and it's really irking me. Not sure when you mean by using 'junction' for them...
