Approach 1: Black-List
Have a key set up to pause broadcasting of keys (as mentioned in the previous post).
Press the key, chat etc. Re-press the key to turn broadcasting back on.
I use this approach, and only have NumLock (auto-run) on the Do-Not-Pass list (Black-List option).
Approach 2: White-List
Set up keyclone with the White-List, Do-Not-Pass option.
The only keys which are passed are those which appear on the white-list.
Use keys which are never used on your main, such as the Num-Pad keys.
On the slave(s) have all the abilities you'd like to use be keybound to Num-Pad keys.
The first approach requires you to be diligent in pressing your Pause key.
You'll mess up a few times, and spam guildchat or what not.
If you click the "x" to close a window and now have some windows open on one toon but closed on another, press C (for character screen) or L (for quest log) and then Escape to close all windows on all clients.
With a bit of time, pressing the Pause/Override key will become second nature.
The second approach is far easier.
But you're limited to as few keybinds as keys your main account never presses or types in normal game-play.
