I have a couple pairs of little shammies (~ level 24) on Dragonblight(horde) and Frostmourne(Ally) that I am experiementing with. I prefer to go elemental with them as that is what my 70 is, but it seems that the one in front normally takes the brunt of the fight. Atleast while leveling...

So on my horde pair, I am going enhancement vs. elemental on the talent points and armour/weapons. On my ally pair, I am going identical on the talent tree, but gearing enhance on one, and elemental on the other. That should give me a good test bed. But of course, shammies really aren't that much fun until you get into the 30's bracket anyway, so for now I am just grinding them...

I have made a set of macros for this purpose. The front enhance shammy does a "Clubber" macro, while the shammy in the back does an "Elemental" macro, which throws shocks/LB and occassional heals to the other shammy. Seems to work pretty well. The one thing that seems sticky to me is the "FOLLOW" stuff. I am contemplating putting a "/kfollow stop" in my battle macros, so I can get one shammy on either side of whatever I am trying to kill. Currently, I end up in situations where one or the other is not facing the right way to fight.

Clubber Macro:

/targetenemy
/castrandom lightning bolt, flame shock, earth shock, lightning bolt(rank2),,
/startattack

Elemental Macro:

/assist focus
/targetenemy [noexists]
/castrandom [exists,harm,nodead] lightning bolt(rank 1), earth shock, flame shock,lightning bolt(rank2),,,
/castrandom [target=focus] lesser healing wave, healing wave,,
/startattack
