Hey all,
I finally decided to set up my shamans today, and spent alot of time thinking about specs. I was wondering if I could get some feedback on this and see what you guys think.
At first, I was going to spec all of my shamans 54/7/0 http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hEbVqfdctMxot0xM, thinking that instant ghostwolf form was the only way I was going to last/get away from a warriors bladestorm due to the fact that you cant knock them back.
Then I got thinking, why do I need all 5 of my shamans specced the same way? I may try speccing 1 of my shamans 54/7/0 http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hEbVqfdctMxotMhb (same spec as before. but 2 out of imp GW and 2 into thundering strikes, 1 guy with imp ghost wolf is pretty useless) , and the others back to a 40/0/21 http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hihVqbdct0xZZVcxb0xo. That way I still keep 4 EM NS CL shamans, and have the knockback saved for when i really need it. If a warrior "cannot be stopped unless killed", kill him with your I WIN macro and some shocks, cause its either him or you.
Also, did they ever implement the Totems of Wrath will not stack idea I was reading about pre patch? If so, even more reason to spec like this due to the fact that only one of your guys passes the talent in the tree, picking it up on the way.
Please let me know what you think.
EDIT: Following this train of thought, at 80, you could end up with something like 1 shaman specced 51/0/20 http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hEbVqbdctMxotZVcxb0x, and 4 50/0/21http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hihVqbdctMxcxZVcxb0xo
