Nuke seems broken...

It seems as though I'll need some convincing and a healer before I BG with the 51/10/0 build.

So until I have a change in heart, or my healer (now a ret pally doing insane dmg with his S4 sword...) re-specs, Im staying with the cookie cutter 40/0/21 pre 3.0 build.

And heres a problem im seeing. My old macro

/cast dmg trinket
/stopcasting
/cast EM
/stopcasting
/cast NS
/stopcasting
/cast CL

No longer works. I spam the buttong and the trinket, NS, EM all pop but Chain Lightning is never casted. WTF?!?!?

So currently I have one button to spam the BUFFs for the nuke and then I just press another button to cast Chain Lightning. Anyone else have this problem?

The macro you are trying to use always felt a little 'spammy ' to me...heh. Try this one out, this is what I use all the time

Wish that changed anything.. Ret Pallies can still bubble in and do 10k DPS before we can turn around.

What kind of MBing setup do you use? Focus assisting or focus target or something else? If it's focus assisting, you have to add in at the end

TS is so much more useful, and it's on a 45 sec cooldown.

I don't use it anymore because of TS but mine looked something like this.

My nuke macro is now based around TS and looks like this:

Turns out Blood Fury (racial) now carries a global cooldown. Took it out and everything is working fine.
