    Default Cooling Issues

Howdy everyone. I wish my first post was something more positive but I've run into a problem and would love a little help. I'm a little concerned about my new computer's current temperature. The system I put together:
    -Q9550 2.83ghz quad core
    -gtx260 gpu
    -4 gigs of ddr2 pc2-6400
    -sg850 antec power supply
    -2x150gb raptor drives
-antec 900 case (so damn crowded)

At the moment the cpu is measuring between 48 and 52c with a single instance of WoW running. The value I have for general system temperature is a relatively steady 35c. I haven't gotten the opportunity to multibox yet but I'm concerned that the extra load will push those numbers dangerously high. Intel indicates that the thermal specification for the processor is 71.4c. I was wondering if my numbers are bad for a single instance of Wow. I will be multiboxing three accounts from this computer and I don't want to fry the new gear. Similar threads indicate these numbers are high but the systems in those threads aren't identical to my setup. I appreciate any insight anyone can offer.

Ok so buy a nice CPU cooler (I like Zalman as they test well) and problem solved?

Second on the Zalman, but be CAREFUL installing it. Those damn things will cut you something fierce.

Can you take a picture of the inside of the case and post it? That will give us an idea of what the problem will be.

Most likely though it's a combination of cpu heatsink and poor airflow within the case.

Also on the raptors, do you have a fan aimed at those things? Are they stacked right on top of each other?

I'm a freak. My Skulltrail system always has one panel off and a Vornado fan aimed at the cpu, memory and graphics card. Temps are pegged at 35 Celsium

    But damn is it noisy.

Forgot to add - Your motherboard should shut off before your CPU actually fries.

Ive had issues with my Q9550 2.83ghz quad core.. i have yet to test it with a program that shows the heat.

After a while of boxing or even crysis the computer shuts it self off... No warnings, nothing it just shuts down and if i try to restart and run wow again it takes 1 stressed situation and boom its off again.

I also run with water cooling and i will be calling the place i bought the pc today because i mean WTF it even shuts down after 1 hour of downloading on my blizzard updater!
