I messed around with Macaroon last night -- so far I really like it. It has the easiest/slickest setup of any bar mod I've used so far.

It has the same feature as trinity where you can setup buttons to automatically target yourself/targettarget/focus/etc. No option for Focustarget though, but it looks like I was successful in editing the .lua and adding that in (same as in trinity). I think this is going to be my bar mod for 3.x

I just recently replaced Quest Helper with Carbonite, and I now consider it a 'Must Have' addon. Several people over at Magtheridon have been using it and recommended it. I was reluctant to try it at first, but now I'm a believer. Carbonite shows more detail, adds a new mini-map that adjusts to your position on the map for quest tracking, high-lights zones of the map that contain mobs related to your quests, takes up much less memory than QH, and is over-all much more stable.

You can edit the target value directly in the editbox to be whatever you want

Ah. That input box was there for a reason then. See, it's even better now.

I tried Macaroon but couldn't even figure out how to get the bars to show. I admit I didn't try too hard since I already had Bartender4 working, with Bartender4 I just had to enable the bars and all my spells and abilities were still setup from my old Bongos mod.

I bought Carbonite but after about an hour trying to configure it I gave up, I'll have to try again tonight. The main problem I had was the small Carbonite map was sitting on the minimap and I couldn't seperate the maps, also I somehow lost the Carboite buttons on the right side of the screen now.

I have my interface almost back to normal now and I'm using a lot less addons. Just need Mobinfo, some totem addon, and a crafting addon to organize my recipes.

In the main menu there is an option to turn off the Blizzard bars. To delete a bar, select it and type "/mac delete"
thanks buddyy. found it! it just hit me in the face like... omg!!! right... now i gotta find the menu and bags for macaroon. hehe. also, i've figured that a lot of the buttons were messing up because of new skills and some changes to skill names. i guess they're actually macro problems. i havent had much time to configure macaroon, instead i've been tweaking other addons. ok will work on configuring all my buttons this weekend. 3.0 really is a pain but so far some of the little tweaks to the game are great. the new talents are super cool to play with but an agony to decide over... sometimes.

Grab Macaroon xtras for menu and bag bar handling.

I've taken the new patch as an opportunity to redo my entire interface and macro system. Using what I have learned over the last year, has caused me to have a lot of temporary modifications in place. So I deleted (well moved to a backup area) the WTF and Addons folder.

I now have a very clean, fast, and most importantly, a multiboxer focused interface. I have also completely moved away from hardware boxing to a single system and Keyclone. Here are the mods I am using...

Jamba (incredible addon, great job Jafula)
    Macaroon (w/ xtras)
    Pitbull
    Bindpad
    Archud
    Bagnon
    Mik Scrolling Battle Text
    Dotimer

    * Still needed
    Proximo (not doing arena atm)
Group Questing Mod (still trying out different ones)

I also recently switched from QuestHelper to Carbonite. Carbonite actually replaced both QuestHelper and Cartographer. The major drawback with Carbonite is that it doesnt show me other party members quest status, which is very important to a multiboxer. Or if it does, I have not figured it out yet. I am using the free version btw.

Here is my must have list.
    Jamba
    Pitbull
    Bagnon
    Mik Scrolling Battle Text
    Carbonite

I plan on trying Macaroon tonight. :D

Agreed. I prefer Carbonite by far over QuestHelper. Can't beat that google map-like minimap in my opinion.
