ok why bother with lava flows? you dont get spell til 75 and it increases range on Flameshock, which really isnt in our rotation at 70.

Hm.. If I understand correctly, flametounge totem will now provide spelldamge?
So the "general" fire totems would be Wrath, Flametounge and then either magma, searing or nova. Since nova needs to be recast every 5 secs (and triggers 1sec GCD) I am leaning towards 3x magma for trash mobs, and 3xsearing for boss fights.

So.. maybe I should skip ToW completely? need to test this on the trainings dummies.

Totem of Wrath spelldmg doesn't stack with Flametongue, so you won't use Flametongue.
And you need a maximum of 3 with Elemental Oath imo. Or have a boomkin, wooohaa! :D

so nothing in resto at all? do a lot of shammy teams not bother with resto? My team is pally and 4 shammies what would you recommend?

- will the talent 'Eye of the Storm' have any useful elements in PvE?

- should the talent 'Call of Flame' be ignored pre WotLK?

- is 'Elemental Precision' really worth spending 3/3 on? :P

I know previously I had went 20 points into resto to get 5% extra crit to lighting and heals. Now you can just go 10 points into enhancement and get 5% crit to all spells. Thundering Strikes is where its at.

I would say that Eye of the Storm is actually bad for me and my 5 shaman group. When one toon is getting hit it takes longer to cast the spell thus someone else gets a cast in before the person that has agro. Hopefully this bounces agro around.

You know I hadn't even thought about the Call of the Flame it was just kind of a filler at that point. I guess there is no point to it pre75 (unless you want more range on your flame shock. I will probably move these points into elemental shields for better surviablity.

The big thing about elemental Precision is lowering the hit cap. Before when totem of wrath stacked it wasn't that big of a deal. But now I think we are going to have gem for a little bit of +hit. If you can't hit a target then you can't kill it.

Ok, so no Totem of Wrath at all, no flametongue totem. So, the new default fire totem is the Searing Totem.

Ok the word on the street is that Totem of Wrath

.. is dead, because the bonus it provides is useless ATM.

What about the other totems. Does healing stream still stack?
