strange octopus problem

I just set up my kvm and it allwos me to drag my mouse onto my other screen. but if i start to move my mouse backwords it instantly brings my mouse back to my other monitor. so basically i cant move my mouse backwords on my other monitor.

NE one know how i would go about fixing this problem?
i started up my octopus and it says this:

i only have one computer/user and i am the only administrator..... NE one know how i bypass this so it will work?
