I have 5Mb down and 768Kb up cable - latency is around 50ms with the latency registry settings. Based on some issues I had with my cable modem previously that was limiting my down rate to around 750Kb, I would say the minimum speed to 5 box would be 1.5Mb or you'll be hurting big time.

1.5mb down, not sure about up prolly 256k. Run at 400ms on average, tbh I don't really notice it. That is, until I lose an arena match

I find it funny when the seppos complain of bad/unbearable lag (250-400ms) and I quote "it is virtually impossible to raid with such a slow reaction time, GG blizz, fix this bullshit."

You guys might want to try the tcpackfrequency hack that should reduce your latency.

I was getting 200ms on my fios after the change I get 43 ms

Now I always hit first on the warrior charge, before that I would get stunned first or get the dreaded simultaneous charge/stun.

Done that already. That took me from a 650 avg to 430 avg...

I always lol inside when I kill a warrior as he charges me, I get the stun but his body is lying 20yds away. Oh yea, with my latency, those 2 secon stuns or w/e actually last about 3-4 seconds. In arenas it is a killer. i might move to the states or Europe one day just to avoid this. Well, one of the reasons I will eventually move out of Australia lol.

1.5Mbps, running four chars at 150ms latency average. *shrug*

I kinda live in a forest in the middle of nowhere. Apparantly 1.5Mbps is the max available for me.

Looks like Cable has gotten tons better than DSL nowadays... my ISP is planning on increasing the speed to 20Mbit pretty soon, and guess what? I'm going to be one of the first to get it ^.^

Unfortunately New Zealand telecommunications and data are considerably behing the rest of the world. The fastest domestic internet connection avaiable to me is 8Mbit / 1Mbit (down/up). My in-game WoW ping is usually sitting around 400-500ms, but since I've been using a tunneling service my in-game ping down to ~180-200ms.
After a bit of investigation work I need to make a clarification to my earlier post, my connection speed is 10Mbps (1.3Mbytes per second), using the TCP fix my in game ping is ~360 - 380. Without the fix it sits around 450-650. Using my tunnelling service it sits around ~180-230ms.

I find it highly amusing when I hear Americans complaining about 80-150ms ping saying it's impossible to raid.
