What kind of internet connection do you guys have?

Just outa curiosity, since I see a few posts here with [56k warning].. Is it a synchronous or asynchronous line?

I recently switched from a 5M/900k DSL line to 10M/1M Cable (both asynchronous, of course) and my latency went down from like 80 - 100 ms to around 50 ms

Fibre aswell, 25/25Mbit cap atm, no download/upload limits. Rumors are it will be upped to 100/50 mbit within 2009, at the same price. But the ISP has yet to confirm anything.

35-40ms latency ingame.

More importantly, my ISP peers directly with Telia (and ofc a bunch of others), but since the wow-servers are served on Telia backbones in France, I get very few hops. I believe I have been dc'ed from wow less than 10 times since launch. Including server breakdowns, Draenor-EU had some serious issues at one time, where people was kicked off constantly. After they did some hardware upgrades and Draenor was included, those problems vanished and it has been a very stable realm since.

Cable, 8meg/2 Meg , but sometimes my connection spikes as high as 24,000k on the down.

8meg DL 300 somethen UL adsl but im here in Australia so my lat sits around 400-500

I get digital hdtv with my package. Everything (with taxes) comes out to about $130 a month.
