    Default Healing question

Ok, I'm sure this has been asked and answered somewhere... before you flame me for asking again, I've spent HOURS searching for the answer so perhaps I'm simply retarded and can't use the search feature here, google, or anywhere else.....

That being said, I'm trying to find a simpler way to heal than having to set up macros with 3 modifiers for each toon and healing possibility.

I've heard healbot would work well and I've used it before to heal with a pally in raids and stuff, so I thought to use it here for multiboxing. I'm running 3 mages and a shammy at the moment.

Did I mention I'm using Octopus for my broadcaster?

Anywho, I want to be able to heal from my main window (which is a mage not the shammy) using healbot. Now assuming that I've correctly positioned them in both windows so they match up properly, is it possible using Octopus to broadcast the key clicks and cursor to use healbot?

All attempts thus far at running multiboxes with clicks/cursor broadcasting on at all have resulted in camera changes etc from the required switch to the other windows in order to click etc... so I've had to play with clicks/cursor off broadcast.

Is there another program that would make this simpler without the issue of screwing with the camera? Or is it possible with octopus and I'm just not doing it right?

Lastly, I've seen that many people recomend using healbot so... how are you doing it? Are you using it on your main and having the dps be the slaves as I've heard at least one person is doing? Or have you mastered this clicking issue that I'm having and have some insight for me? Or else do I simply need to force myself to work with the macros, simple enough, but obviously harder than wack-a-mole...

    Thanks in advance!

ever consider using the function keys to heal your party members? with my pve group controling the tank priest and mages on follow i'd use F1-F5 as the hotkey to tell the priest which toon in the party needed healing - bind each of those to a single key on the priest client (if F1 then Greater heal macro with alt key alt modifer signifies heal party member 1.... F2 = same macro with shift modifier for second party memeber etc etc... this way u can quickly bind shields / renews / multiple heals to easy to hit hotkeys on your main account.... for just f1-f5 my priest launched greater heals... when i needed a heal in a pinch used ctrl-f1-f5 and that send to a flash heal macro in the same logic alt f1-f5... a shield etc etc... i liked it because was easy to hit didn't have to worry about clicking and losing my current target (oh also disable the select party members hotkeys on that main box else you will lose target

yea thats my fallback option, but I'm trying to be lazy and use healbot if its possible... I guess it would be relatively easy for low levels since shammy's don't get any other heals until higher up lol...

Healbot and broadcasting mouse clicks should work fine. I had this setup for a while using healbot and hotkeynet to broadcast the mouse clicks. My setup was basically shift + any mouse click for various heals sent to my holy pally window.

I currently use almost the exact same setup but with clique so I don't need to have a second party list like healbot or grid etc
    2019 (40 - Priest/Mage/Mage/Mage/Mage) (16 - 5x Druid)
    2008 (60 - 2x Paladin 3x Mage) (64 - Moonkins) (70 - Shamans)
