Thread: Where to next?

    Default Where to next?

I have boosted my 2 RAF linked accounts up to 47 now in Zul Farrak, so where to now? I am using a lock to boost and not sure if BRD would be possible with a lock boosting! Or would I be quicker boosting through quests or just running the 2 accounts through quests without boost?

Its possible to boost lbrs, the packs until the first boss with a 70 warlock with Blue/pvp gear. Takes some training, but once you figure it out, its a cakewalk tbh.
Voidwalker, SoC. I found out pulling 8 mobs (2 packs) is the best, with shamanteam in background healing me inbetween the packs.

I found brd and lbrs pretty easy although i was boosting a priest that just spammed heal when i was life tapping. Its doable.
My second time round levelling at 48 i started quests in the Searing Gorge which was very fast exp, the first bunch of quests (a couple of them were collection) on hand in made me 2.2 levels. after you hit 50 go to Western Plagueland for a quick 3 levels. cauldron quest, all along the watch towers, and the quick ones in the farm houses. then head back over to the burning steps to net 56, winterspring for about 30 minutes and that's you Outland prepared

The whole time i was doing the above i used my level 70 warlock to boost

If you are horde go to Hinterlands, do not stop, do not pass go, don't worry about the $200.

I found that in the Hinterlands, with no booster, I can do 170-200k an hour (per toon) depending on the class. IN the BRD Lycum (with a never ending stream of mobs) boosting with my 70 Pally in OK gear I could hit maybe 125k.

After Hinterlands Ungoro is about the same and the cauldron quests in WPL are nuts. I keep saving the AD turnins but keep hitting 60 before I get there.

In my gear level I have found questing to be MUCH faster 45-60 then boosting. It also give you a chance to get used to your toons. I had never really played shaman before RAF and quested 40-60 and learned a lot doing it. This may or may not matter for you.

Yeah you'll get more XP doing hinterlands followed by searing gorge than you will by boosting at this point.

Honestly 48-58 is faster than 28-38 IMO. Hinterlands, Searing Gorge, WPL, EPL can do you 10 levels SUPER fast.

im really glad u asked this question. im in the exact same position, all my alts sitting around 46-48 and boosting is noticeably slowing down

Well I boosted my toons through the Searing gorge quests and they are now 50, did take almost 2 hours but that was for the drops for one the quests. So now on to WP. Thanks for the advice.
