10 Warlocks: Quickest way to 60? (or 70)

My new question is how would you go about leveling 10 warlocks if you were in my shoes. I'm looking for fastest 1-60(70). I'm going to try and explain my account setup as clear as possible as well as what i'm thinking.



Also, I have the following characters on Magtheridon:

• 70 Warlock
• 70 Mage
• 70 Rogue
• 70 Paladin
• 70 Druid

I am thinking the quickest method would be:

• Level 5 locks to 8
• Take the 4 RAF locks into RFC / WC / SFK with 70 lock until about 28.
• Grant 20 levels to VET lock.
• Quest / Run SM with all 5 till about 40.
• Quest to 44.
• Run Zul'Farrak to 48.
• Quest to 50.
• Run Sunken Temple to 55.
• Run Blackrock Depths to 60.
• Repeat whole process with VET2 / RAF5 - RAF8

Would it just be quicker to level all 10 br grinding in a raid?

How would you do it?

My Timetable:

Group 1:
Level 10: /played = 1 hour 45 minutes

• 1-8 (questing): 1 hour 15 minutes
• 8-10 (4 RAF accounts in RFC with 70 warlock): 30 minutes

Level 20: /played = 7 hours 55 minutes

• 10-16 (4 RAF accounts in RFC with 70 warlock): 2 hours 20 minutes
• 16-20 (4 RAF accounts in WC with 70 warlock): 3 hours 50 minutes
• At this point, 3 levels were granted to the VET level 8 lock from each of the RAF accounts, bringing the VET from level 8 to level 20.

First you're awesome! Second 10 locks in demon form would look godly. Lastly, I'd prolly just raf two group of five then quest em. 2 days 10hours to 60 per group if you're a slow person like myself. 5 days and you have 10 60's then you just need to level em to 70. I was actually wondering the same thing for wotlk. Whether I'd be better off leveling one group at a time or having em both quest in separate groups at the same time... /boggle Maybe we should ask Prepared :P

I raf'd my second set of 4 on follow to 60 in under a day /played... sadly didn't do a time trial or note on the first group but i'd bet its in the same timeline... this using a mage to boost them soley in instance (i'm alliance)
10-15 vc
15-20 ish stockades
20-43 SM arm/cath
43-45 ZF (hate AoE'ing here because of the polyfrog esp if u don't have a dispeller)
45-60 Strathome Undead back towards live... think i have a pic but def don't unlock barons gate that side isn't very aoe'able...

think in strath without looting i was able to keep in the 290k-310k range till i start getting tired (i only wow at work on the nighshift and sadly it does req a mind to boost)

wait... looking at your orig pic... are you linking all your raf accounts to vet 1 and two?

i'm not sure this would be the best way to go simply for the free ding 'gift lvl's' or whatever they call them... and the zhebra mounts if you care about them...

i linked Vet -> Raf1 and Raf1 -> Raf2 then made a second set Raf3 -> Raf4 though most importantly when i boost a team to 60 i use my main with Raf1-2 3-4 linked on follow Raf4 gifts 30 lvl's to Raf3 and Raf2 gifts 30 lvl's to Raf1 which i have Vet linked account partied with in the group while i do it which gives 15 lvl's more that Raf1 can gift Vet... I don't care much about the zhebras but for this gifting levels alone might want to reconcider how your refering... with this setup i'm already ending up with too many free gift lvl's to ever use up without moving toons off of my orig accounts

Also note to get the tripple xp the toons your lvl'ing need to be linked in your pic that would mean using a lvl 1 on the vet account to lvl with the raf's which wouldn't work if you want to instance boost unless you leave a toon out and use vet2 to boost the first vet and raf1-3 though then u will end up with 8 locks >.< really think u should link:

Vet1 -> Raf1
Raf1 -> Raf2 -> Raf3 -> Raf4

Vet2 -> Raf5
Raf5 -> Raf6 -> Raf7 -> Raf8

Hah, thanks! My mages were also 2 days 12 hours to 60. I'm interested to see if the warlocks level quicker... I just have to keep looking forward to the BGs!

Unfortunately, the accounts have already all been set up, several days ago for one set, and several weeks ago for the other. When i configured them, i was under the impression tripple experience wouldn't be granted if a mob or quest was gray to one of the party members. (So i had discarded boosting).

Also, i had wanted to be able to provide the gifted levels to the same account, this way, i can gift two characters to each vet account from 1 to 60, which will allow me to put a Tank and Healer on each vet account with minimal work. The Zhevrahs, I will probably not even collect.

I've just created one set of warlocks, i'll keep this thread updated with my times, just for those who are intersted, if any!

you can still boost... just use vet 2 to boost the first set of four and vet1 for your second group.... you are gonna end up with a ton of gifted toons on those two main accounts prepare to have lvl 30 bank toons hey at least then u can get them a pimp tuxedo set and mount to bling in ...

and for sanity sake i'd just lvl the last two locks your missing to 30 on the vet1 and vet2 accounts then free ding and move them over unless ur a glutton for punishment like me and plan on abusing the whole 90 day raf'ness (i'm currently on my 4'th and 5th set of toons)

though sadly armory doesn't seem to update very quickly or maybe i need to keep the toons logged in a while to update - i have 12 60's and 2 @ 58 and thats just not showing up on armory lol oh well

(in case your curious though shammys or lock/priest seem to be the best boxing now... i figured as with all big updates and how blizz nurfs one class and makes the next the new best thing... best to just have as many options as possible on all 5 accounts)


oh and the best part about those free dings... lol i boosted two mages to 38 (one bubble from 39) in 8 hours /played then free ding'd them to 60... so nice screenshot of a mage at one bubble from 61 with 8 hours /played ((oh and if you haven't caught it elsewhere get your toons close as possible to ding'ing before u gift them - because if your at 99.9% of the lvl when you free gift it, you will be at 99.9% of the next lvl... so if your one kill away from 60 then use a free gift ding then you just did a crapload of xp (its a huge jump from 60-61) from memory like 400k something xp? its a RAF bug imo.. but a nice one half of my toons are one bubble away from 61 and never stepped foot into outlands... heck half of them still don't have training or even lvl 30 mounts! <3 <3 summon friend... make toons named "SummonSM" etc to park outside of every instance accordingly... then no need to constantly move alts around

NOTE u can't gift a single toon more than 30 dings.... ie u can't lvl up a lvl 1 to 60 for free even if u have the dings avail.... its in the fine print that any single toon can't accept more than 30 free dings so basicly u still need to lvl up your tank and healer to 30 BEFORE gifting them (or at least one bubble from 31 imo ) just giving a headsup before u find out that too late

Well, I'd say personally watching someone gift their char from 1 to 60, that you can give more than 29 lvls to any single char...Tasty, you did this with your pally didn't you?

Absolutely not true.

You get 29 gift levels per 60, and can gift from more than one recruit toon to a single vet. The last two toons on my original two accounts were just made to use the last bunch of gift levels, I played them to level 13 and gifted them all the way to 60, they have less than 90mins played.

doh well i stand corrected so much for believing blue posts :P i guess i should have known better than believing them as absolute truth as i also have a copy of one posting the toons have to be teh exact same lvl else only the lower of the two gets the tripple xp (this may be true if the higher toon is much much higher but i know for a fact they can be 3-4 lvls diff and still both get tripple xp... good to know thx guys now even more tempting to move a toon from my first account as i have more free dings than i'm going to be able to use >.<
