    7. If you are boosting, it is recommended that you save class quests until your characters are higher levels, since class quest experience scales with level, and higher levels take longer to obtain.

    Or something to that effect.

Are you certain about this? I actually saved all class quests on my mages and priests because I didn't feel like doing them. What about if you get to level 60 with the bonus levels and then do the class quests? You're saying you'll get more experience that scales with you at level 60 instead of the experience you would have got when you were level 20? That sounds hard to believe. I'll give it a try this weekend though...

Yes, FWIW I didn't do all the totem quest lines until I was level 60 on all my characters. The quests were all "yellow" and ended up being worth around 10k exp each

Its true, I've done it with shaman, druid and warrior class quests. Might not be all classes but those 3 for sure.

I suspect this may be where you gain an ability, such as ressing or totems.

I had a number of mage quests that went grey over the levels.

of course around that point you're making 100k+ an hour anyway so it's not like you really gain anything by doing it at that point (except the mount) which is imo not really worth losing out on the totems.

If your being boosted it wont really matter if you miss out on the totems in the start.

Even if you aren't boosting, the other totem aren't so important. I got two shammies to 60 in 48 hrs played ignoring all but the earth totem until 60 because I remembered how much faffing about the quest lines had in them. Never died once to mobs so I don't think they are a necessity in the face of the dual dps madness.
