help: settings gone

Hello,

I just tried dual-boxing for the first time today. I copied my Wow folder to another folder on the same machine, everything except "Data" folder. For Data, I used symbolic link:
mklink \D C:\Wow2 C:\World of Warcraft

the problem is, when I run Wow, all my settings are gone. Specifically, I had saved a setting of which addon to load / not load for specific characters, and it's gone. (It defaults to load all for all characters)
Also, my auctioneer data are all gone. All items show as if they've never been found.

This happens when I run C:\Wow2\Wow.exe, not when I run the original Wow.exe. Which is strange, I thought all those settings are saved in WTF and Interface folders, which I had copied.

Has anyone experienced this before, and how did you solve it?

I'd suggest first trying to copy the wtf folders and stuff from the working copy and paste them into the one that isn't working then go from there.
