    Default mage/pally or mage/hunter

I already have priest/priest and so far that has worked out great. I want to try some new classes. I was thinking about mage/pally because I like to have a healer nearby, along with the ability to res. I already have a hunter, so I think I'd prefer something else. But as far as being the easiest to dual box, I think the hunter/mage might be easy. Just send pet and hit autoshoot, then let the mage do his thing.
I'm not sure how the mage/pally would work. I've read the sticky, but with a pally, I was thinking there would be alot of mashing buttons to keep the aggro.

    Any suggestions?

Pally mage is a great combination, pallies can use ghetto AE tanking to kill 4-6 mobs at a time with the right spec, add a mage to that you have an awesome grinding duo. Pallies can hold agro very easily, you can set it up so that one button does a couple of casts and holds agro fine as the mage burns down your target, or do the AE method mentioned above which starts to work great mid/upper 30s.

Hunter/mage is fine to, and easy to do. Pally buffs are nice to have on the hunter, but the pally tends to end up following the hunter around and just tossing a few buffs and heals, good for questing and grinding "insurance", but it isn't going to make things much faster.

Problem with hunter/mage is that the mage WILL get aggro and die occasionally. And no rez hurts. With a pally, you have the rez when you need it. Plus, with a protection pally, you have AoE awesomeness you can use that works great with the mage.

Thanks for all the sugestions. I ended up going with Mage/Pally. Only got them up to lvl 7, but it's cool watching both of them level at the same monent. It's been working out pretty good.

I suggest going arcane with the mage for the 40% threat reduction.

Give it some time. Until you get evocation on the mage and some more talents and some +spell damage gear for the pally, you'll have some tough spots.

Im currently doing the Hunter/Mage thing!

Got to 24 or something so far. Mage has died a few times to many...

What i've done so far, is specced the hunter as a beastmaster, and the mage as fire. But i think i'll start using arcane missiles instead now, first off all due to that threat reduction thing, and because it takes a few seconds to cast, so i usually just get one shot from the mage.
Also, im using a cat pet, for the dps!

    Any thoughts?

I'm trying 1 Priest 4 Hunters , but i keep thinking that a Paladin would be better than the priest?
