My plan - am I mental?

ok folks I may be one step from the nut farm but here is my plan....

in 90 days I would like a minimum of 5 of every Alliance and Horde class at level 60 (or beyond). Leaving aside Death Knight (wont be touching Wrath til new year) that is an end goal of 18x5 man teams.

My setup is as follows. I have 6 copies of WoW/BC and 6x2 month cards. I have 3 quad core PCs and 3 Dell 24" Monitors and due to personal circumstances am able to play on average 8-12 hours a day (I hate TV and havent read a book since school)

Naturally I want to take advantage of RAF and to add some sugar to the pot I have access on separate accounts to (1 x 70 Mage / 1 x 70 Pally) (1 x 65 Pally) and (1 x 70 Warrior). Having been here since beta I am also not short of gold and resources.

My original idea was to play separate groups of 3 and use the high levels to boost but (and this is where you fine people come in) nowt is set in stone.

So please suggestions, ideas, plans and the number of a good shrink are all welcome.

Sounds like you want to have every class/race combo available, but will that ever be enough?

If you're doing questing primarily, just do all of your alliance teams first, then all of your horde teams or vice versa. Your familiarity with the quests will become reflex. You may go insane if you try this, so you may need to alternate to the other faction.

You say you have access, be aware that if those accounts are in someone else's name you WILL get your accounts and those accounts banned if you multibox with them by yourself. Multiboxing draws very close scrutiny to account ownership.

Generally a 70 pally or lock are 2 of the best boosters, though mages are good. If you boost, boost groups of 4 with the 70, you get slightly better xp per kill.

If you're doing pure teams (5 shammy, 5 mage) I'd recommend actually gaining the levels on the ranged toons and granting the levels on the melee toons.

If you're doing mixed teams you can mostly groundhog day it. Tank, priest, 3 dps, bomb to 60, make a new identical team and repeat. Vary some for flavor.

just remember you wont have to lvl them all. For 2 teams you get to 60 you will be able to get another group of 60s on the recruit a friend veteran accounts. So thats a good bonus

sooo.... level a team to 60.... either gift the next team to 30 or wait till you have one more team at 60 then gift another team to 60.

Yeah that won't matter, you can even call billing and they will fix it. My last name has a space, sometimes I put it in web forms sometimes I don't (Mc Bastard vs McBastard). Tried to transfer a toon and it would not go. Called billing the dude picked up on the fact that one account had the space and the other did not. Fixed it no worries.

Let me do the math here. 6 accounts = 60- slots per server 5x18= 90 toons. So I am assuming you are not putting them all on the same server. How many servers are you going to be on? Do you have any existing toons on the servers you are going to roll on - how many slots are available per account, per server? You will need to figure out your gifting plan before you start because you obviously can't gift cross faction or cross server. If you plan on gifting and moving toons around you should probably write/draw out your server transfers too. I made a spreadsheet to track my guys.

I recommend boosting toons to 31.99 before gifting them to 60. It is fast and easy. Then you get 1 free 60 per 60.

Good luck, I wish i had more time. I will have 4 teams of 4 or so (all built around my Pally) I think by the time my RAF ends.

Just checking, a lot of times on here people phrase it "have access" to mean account sharing, and the powers that be on the site are very careful about not breakung the ToS.

I will be using two seperate servers one for Horde and one for Alliance. The 6 accounts I am using are virgin so all slots are empty. The Alliance server Alonsus-EU has my high levels on. Though I do have a level 60 Horde Mage on the Horde server Sunstrider-EU. In many ways i would prefer not to boost them too much with the high levels as this in someways seems to lessen the acheivement (another reason for a head exam?) but will certainly use them in lower instance to complete the quests and get over any stuck points.

1 question I had was is my plan idiotic to split into a total of 36 trios and then at 60 - 70+ form them into 5s. This would leave account 6 somewhat the bastard child! Or should I just bite the jalapeno and 5 man it all the way and give my 6th battlechest as an early chrimbo present?
