Three Moniters one Computer (Matroc Triplehead2go)

I was wondering if anyone had ever seen or uses this..

Would be able to hook up 6 moniters to one computer or 3 to one computer.

Your guys thaughts ?
I am in the process of getting set up to start boxing but researching as much as I can before going out and buying it all.

I don't believe Matrox are that hot at 3D gaming. They have (or had) a solid reputation for 2D performance and image quality and were the top choice for some professional uses.

But I've not been keeping up with matrox hardware for the last couple of years. Maybe things have changed?

The Triplehead2go is nothing more than a sort of "splitter" for VGA cables. It basically tricks your computer into thinking it is connected to a really wide monitor, so if you have 3 monitors with 1280x1024 resolution, your computer will think you have a 3840x1024 monitor and display things accordingly. It should work well enough with wow, provided your video card can handle the resolution, so if you have something high end, you should be OK (Also this is one case where SLI and multi monitors work well together.)

As long as you can get your wow windows to open up where you want them, and you can drive a very high resolution, the triplehead will work fine. Hell get 2 of em and run 6 monotirs with a regular dual head card

Downside is it doesn't work well (or at all?) with different resolution/size monitors.

I used to run 3 22" on my main. I just had to have a second video card. Now in my setup, I have an SLI board, and I just had 2 PCIe cards, non SLI with 2 LCD's hooked to one, and the final LCD hooked into the second card. That setup also allowed me to use a program called "SoftTH" to get 5040x1050 resolution in games if you wanted.

And with SoftTH, you can run different resolution monitors.
