    Hi there i have going atm a Mage and warlock combo, its pretty kick ass, just got reign of fire and blizzard last night able to take on TONS of enemies. The question i pose to u guys is. Can i throw a prot paladin into the mix and also should the prot paladin be on my main screen? or the pip screens to the right for concecrate?

    You can absolutely add a paladin. I would say use the paladin as the main (screen) if you leave him as protection. That said, you could always have him main heal as Holy and then he would not need to be the main (screen).

    One reason you would tend to want a tank as the main is to engage mobs at a safe distance. If a tank is on /follow, well you're going to body pull aggro with the mage or warlock long before the paladin ever gets into melee range.

    I started with 5 elemental shamans but got my ass kicked in RFC, so I changed it to 1 prot paladin and 4 shamans. Since then I've been getting better (and so has my gear) and the paladin is pretty useless now... the shamans kill everything before it even gets to the tank. But it changes again when you want to do heroics... so the tank helps in getting started in instances at lower levels, then isn't really needed again until 60ish

    The paladin is the main, yes. I click most of his buttons and have hotkeys for all the shaman stuff.
