Default Something MUST be wrong with my hardware...

I recently started dual-boxing and am getting 20-30fps on my main and like 40 on my slave(which isnt normal but this is not the point)

    I have a Q6600
    4gb 800mhz ram
    BFG 640 8800gts video card
    Xp 64bit

My slave has every setting at the lowest, while my main has the regular resolution (1680x1050) 22inch monitor and most gfx at low ( even AA )

    WHY!?!?!?!? =( :cursing:

Almost the exact same setup I'm running, except my vid card is an eVGA 8800GT and I'm running XP 32bit. I get 60fps on both clients with both set to 1370x1100 or something like that. Do you get 60+ FPS when running just one instance of WoW?

Try firing up 1 wow client in full screen and see what your FPS is...I had this issue when I switched from full screen (128fps) to windowed (48fps).

Hmm...if you do a "/console set MAXFPS 100" do you then get 60+ FPS when running a single client? If not, then you could try turning down your video settings in game via the other console commands. Lemme see if I can find those for you.

See if setting those to minimums helps any. If not, I'd suggest you either do have a hardware problem or your drivers are having issues.

That isn't right, then. With that system and one wow, you should be able to cap your FPS easily, even at 1920x1200 resolutions and full graphics effects. If you're only getting 50 on low settings, there's definitely something wrong. Can you swap in another graphics card and try that? Also, what graphics driver are you using? You might try the latest direct from NVidia and see if that helps.

I have the exact same setup except my 8800's are only 512mb and I run on a 27 in lcd tv/monitor and the slaves on a 22'" lcd.
I get 50 fps everywhere but in shatt with most settings on high/max. The slaves are capped at 15fps with low settings. The only place I get any trouble is in
Shatt. Id be wondering about a gpu driver issue or possibly heat as some of the others have mentioned.

Resize your wow window in windowed mode and make sure that none of the edges are overlapping the start bar or the start button etc. I keep about 5 pixels above the start button, looks a bit stupid but reallyhelps the fps. Also turn off Aero in vista.
