Arcane/fire mages

I am curious as to how other shamans deal with arcane/fire mages that charge you and aoe when you cant see them come at you? I will be fighting other people then a mage or two flanks me and begins the aoe process. How do you fight against that?

Lightning Shield. They get hit for everyone's lighting shield each time they aoe... it really dose a number on them x5
