I am a new multiboxer and leveling two RAF mages. With this guide, I was 20+ and out of ghostlands in no time. Quests yield great xp and leveling is a breeze due to lack of time consuming collection quests. I haven't gone past ghostlands yet, but if the rest of the guide is like this, we have a gem of a guide here. Finally I can have a way to level to 60 without being bored to tears.

As you mentioned, there is always room for improvement but I feel that the guide is pretty damn good even without future touch-ups. The only minor inconvenience so far is finding which NPC hands out which quests (sometimes there are no tomtom coords). Again, not a biggie since most players are familiar with quests by this point.

Thanks for the time you have put into this. Just one question: How long /played do you think would take my team (2 mages) to get to 60 with this guide? I'm guessing a couple of days or so... Any other tips for a new dual boxer would be appreciated.

    cheers mate

I openly ask for people to PM me with their play times for each file. I would like to add those times to the “READ ME” file. Once I have them all I would post them here as well. Just use the in game stop watch (click the clock on the radar) while playing though the file non stop. It’s just tricky because the next file auto loads seamlessly. Here are the 3 Alliance files I have so far.

    Searing Gorge, (51-52).......... 0 hours 40 mins
    Western Plaguelands,(55-58) ...2 hours 50 mins
    Hellfire Peninsula, (58-60)...... 1 hours 20 mins

Any feedback on the “Ding” notes? I started leaving those in at level 30ish on the Alliance guide. I used the TG recorder and noted when I dinged for myself to help write the guide. I thought they would be good for people who didn’t start the guide from the beginning.

If anyone has played the guide all the way though, would you post your play time to level 60 please? Also note team make up and server type. (pvp servers always take longer) I hope to have some played times for each set up. (2, 3, 4, and 5 boxer times)

To: joekirk; Please keep us updated on your progress. You being a new multi boxer and a 2 boxer, I’d really value your feed back. We have a lot of new people coming in and using this guide. I find it amazing to see someone’s 1st post here on this topic. (Your played time to 60 using the guide exclusively should be 2 days +1-8 hours, or less is my guess, start planing out team 2,3,and 4 now lol. RAF is 90 days!)

As always keep the feed back coming, good or bad, PM or post.
    Thanks and enjoy!

One little thing I see is that you seem to push into outland at 58 (I may be blind, missread, something)... why? RAF x3 xp goes away as soon as you go into outland (is what I've been told anyway), so why not just level from 58-60 in azeroth?

Outland quests are easier to do at 60 anyways.

Hmm how can I say you’re so wrong in a good way and not hurt your feelings? We have PM’d each other and I really like you. Don’t take this the wrong way. It’s the opposite of what you have said in that post. I’ll just give a few facts on the topic. RAF ends at level 60. You still get triple xp in Outlands. Outland quest rewards and xp are 10 times better than old world content. Most of the 1st few quests are just pick up, run here, turn in. The 2 bombing quests are so easy, fast, and fun. I always hit 60 before the guide ends. I just kept the guide going to finish that last quest chain. At level 58 you can pick up the quest “though the portal” and do Outland quest. Once you hit level 58 its all down hill. You should be level 60 in 1.0- 1.5 hours tops. Hope this helps. Again I hope I didn’t hurt your feelings. PM me again and we’ll talk.

Nice guide Elba. Wish i had a similar guide going from 0-60 the umpteen times i did it.

I think the community would benefit from a 60-70 guide and a 70-80 guide that is:

    multibox friendly
    tourguide friendly
    no grinding

I have started looking at the alliance quests by zone for that purpose. Have you figured out a way to ferret out the quests that the collected item can be picked up by all in the party? These really shouldn't be skipped as they are essentially a one player collection quest.

You don't have to say it in a good way lol. Just tell me I'm wrong :P
I had been told it didn't work in outland. If that isn't the case, then OUTLAND HERE I COME!

This guide has been a big help to me, giving me the flexibility to have wowhead type data avail without alt tabbing, and questhelper wasn't real user friendly. Several of the chains that carry over from the lower level guide weren't available to me since my night elves came to the area at 13, but that's on me.

Might make sense to expand the notes to warn of which quests are long chains not to skip. I didn't do the annoying stillpine totem chase of doom so I couldbn't talk to princess stillpine is a minor example. Being L13 and not talking to the admiral guy on the southern shore as a result cost me a handful of easy quests (the dead captain and naga to the far north for example).

Some inaccuracies in locating NPCs I saw, lots of times the crazy taxi arrow was telling me the NPC was 100+ yards away when I was standing at them. A couple of collection quests I didn't expect to see (Dragon Bones for one), and the order of when quests are turned in was a little non intuitive. 9 hours to L22 isn't bad for me, especially with fairly frequent interruptions from my wife and kids.

All in all great guide, great effort. Thanks.
