After playing some WotLK, I’m back at it. I added levels 40-51 and the Night Elf start area levels 1-5. I’m almost done with the The Hinterlands and will add it after play testing.( 2 days)

As always keep the feed back coming, good or bad, PM or post.
    Thanks and enjoy!

I'm confused. I thought this guide started with the blood elf place? But I get all the stuff put in and tourguide tells me to go to durotar (Durotar 1-5)

All races can use the guide. Get to level 5 in you start area, then go to the Blood Elf start area. You can’t take quests in a start area that’s not yours until level 5. That’s why it’s like that. Later I’ll go back and add level 1-5 for each race. ATM the horde has one 1-5 file the Orc/Troll start area. The other start areas are missing. So that’s what you’re getting.

Thanks for posting I’ll add some information regarding this in my “read me” file. So others are not confused, when they start the guide.

Start any race and pick your start area file level 1-5 and skip the other level 1-5 files. Once you’re level 5 all races go to the level 5- 12/13 file. Horde “5-12 Eversong Woods” Alliance 5-13 Azuremyst Isle”

We want you to get to the new start areas as soon as possible. They are so much better for xp, time, and quest rewards than the old start areas. Take Mulgore for an example, that map is so huge and such a time waster. We want you in the most up to date areas to get the most “bang for the buck” so to speak. The same goes for Dustwallow Marsh and Mudsprocket. That whole map got reworked and updated with new quests for both Horde and Alliance.

I’m about to add more levels to the Alliance, up to level 58 later today. Atm I’m play testing it lol.

    Thanks and enjoy!

I just uploaded an update. The Alliance is now complete to level 60. Whew.

It’s been one hell of a ride making this guide. I wish I had this guide at the beginning of my RAF. However, I have learned so much by going thought the process of it all, that I’m glade it turn out the way it did. I may just RAF again.

Therefore for all you new RAF’ers I have some advice. Think big, real big. Plan out 3-5 teams at least before you start. Play times to 60 are so that you can make a team level 60 with in 2 weeks. Make every class so later if you need to play that class it will be there and be level 60. Make a team of “mules” that are warlocks and or paladins; they get the free level 30 mount. Save money, don’t train every spell just a few main ones. High level mules are great for camping a rare spawn mob or vendor item or even a resource node. Make a team on the opposite fraction. See how the other side lives. (You may want to keep it a secret) If you’re on a pvp server go to a new server and roll the team there. Also try the other types of servers PVP, normal, RP, or RPPVP. I found it fun to do just one team like that. Don’t spread your self too thin. Later when your server is off line play the new server until yours comes back up.

Just like the solo player we all once were, we will have a “main” team and “alt” teams. Before now no one wanted the burden to level up an alt team. With RAF that burden is gone. We now can have many alt teams.

After you have your teams planed out, make sure you have room for all those toons. I found it hard to decide who to delete on my main account to make room. So have a plan for that as well.

As to the guide, there is always room for improvements. In the beginning I wanted a guide to get me to 60 with out having a lost feeling. Not knowing were to go. I wanted a path to 60 that was multi boxer friendly. Then I thought, forget about me what do the masses want. I want to give a guide that works for the most people. How can I make everyone happy; the 5 boxer vs. the 2 boxer? What if you’re starting a new server and don’t have high level toons there? You would have no money or the ability to farm money. So I ruled out boosting, instance runs, and the cloth turn in quests. Later speed became an issue. One thing we all want is it to be fast. What’s the played time to 60 using your guide came up. So I worked in hearth spots the best I could to speed it along. I like pets so all the OOX chicken quests are in there. However for some that could be a time waster if you don’t find the [Distress Beacon] right away. Another example of catch 22 came up in the Barrens Horde guide. I thought for pvp servers. The guide should get the most xp out of the Barrens before having to leave. In the Barren you can’t get ganked so I wanted to stay there as long as I could; besides it’s the best chat channel in the game. However killing those semi rare spawns (with sometimes big patrol areas) for the loot item that starts a quest, was a time sink if you couldn’t find them right way. In summery, there is always room for improvements, I’m just trying to keep as many people as I can happy.

    Thanks and enjoy!
