I have Comcast but have not received any such notice. I use torrents daily, can't say I could use that amount in a month however. But I’m on board with your thinking it's the principle of the thing.

Eight years ago I tried out Direct; it was internet satellite since cable internet didn’t make it out here until 2003. I didn’t have the DirectPC service long. They limited you to 250MB a DAY. it does suck how far behind we are, if I could be shown the reasons why there are restrictions then perhaps i could get on board, but with the track record they are just trying to hold power by controlling. The FCC allready spanked them once. Now it will be the Medias turn with this
