Thread: My Solo Toon

    Default My Solo Toon

Just a slightly outdated picture of my cluttered screen 8^)

I've got a few new things since this pic but overall it hasn't changed much.

I run about 80 add ons LMFAO XD

    I wish I had money for a WoW Card : /

    80 Add-ons? I'd cry.

Plus your screen is way cluttered. Only thing showing on my screen is my chat box, mini-map and target frames. Then, when I'm in Combat, my action bars pop up. Very lite, I don't believe in clutter/disorganization.

Go buy a wow card. 30 bucks should be pretty easy to come by.

I know it's cluttered but I know where everything is just fine. If I could hit a hotkey and make all those bars appear/dissapear that'd be fantastic lol

I wish it was easy to come by :P I'm in highschool and not many places are hiring. Not to mention I'm in the dead middle of a residential area and my Bike got stolen a year ago :S

I will possibly getting a job second semester but thats January T_T

Official AddOn count 97, but that's got including addons with 'pieces' such as Auctioneer and it's many parts, etc So 50 to 70 is a pretty good actual number :P

Edit: Heres a list for anyone interested :P

Maybe you'll see something that catches your attention. If anything catches your eye, feel free to ask and I should be able to remember what it does :P

What addons do you use? This sounds a lot like the setup I'm trying to achieve. I'm just using the standard Blizz UI with a few things from the Chaos package (oh and Multiboxer). I've been wary of making major UI changes until after the xpack cause I don't want to get stuck with some unsupported addons.

noticed you have all your portals and teleports and food and water spells on there but if you use cryolysis you could turn them into 1 handy little circular button saving about 14 slot worth of clutter. also i find the compact omen skin to be far less intrusive... im not actually sure how you can play without being able to see your character . heres my solo mage after just dinging 70 about 2 hours prior the circles on the left are cryolysis you can see omen at the top(omen has changed its look since that build but the compact skin is almost the same size just i wee bit different). still abit cluttered ('specially the minimap area) but i can see my dude at least. also id like to note that despite the guild name i was probably in zero epics at that point in time.

I'm aware of stuff like Arcanum and Cryolysis as you are referring to it and I had it for all of 5 seconds and just didn't like it : /

I might end up making some macros from knowledge I've learned here such as making Fire Ward on Ctrl Click and Ice Ward on Alt click, same for portals/teleports, etc

    Maybe

A question I do have for you though is what that button mod is.

its bongos2. i like it a lot. i tried bartender but afteer a year with bongos it was too foreign to me so i stuck with bongos. only things i use cryolysis for is my food/water and ports. its just handy instead of having all those buttons on my menu. i would never consider using its attack spell functionality as its just to wonky. but i totally understand not liking a particular mod. also having the menu buttons on the side like that is a bad idea i changed it very shortly after doing it. it makes it so that if a menu is up you cant click on them and thats not very good sometimes.

Enable UI scaling and take it down to .64. That will make things much better :/
