Default Addon Feature thoughts: Waypoint Relaying

I'm fairly used to using Lightheaded/Questhelper and Cartographer-Waypoints to find out where I need to go when questing. The waypoints just make things simple.

I'd love to see this in a boxing mod (using twobox-toolkit right now)... Is there a simple way to override the slave waypoint functionality such that it sets the waypoint on the master instead?

I'm leveling my slaves with a 70 as the master and he's already done most of the quests himself so I have to manually run a /waypoint command on him or keep an eye on the waypoint marked on one of the slaves.

Just something simple like 'Waypoint relaying' that can be toggled on/off..

I may just look at editing my copy of twobox-toolkit to do this myself..

    Thoughts?

    eh, was bored at work.

Looks like Lightheaded is directly checking for either TomTom or Cartographer_Waypoints and calling functions directly within.

The slaves would have to run with modified versions of lightheaded while all have some boxing mod tweaked to support sending and receiving the relays and sending them to TomTom or Cartographer... Possible, but truely custom.

Questhelper already does this. You need to turn on Quest sharing if another party member has a quest you will have a waypoint to "Help XYZ with blah blah quest" even better QH will show it on your map.

I hear QH is behind in development so who knows how long this will be possible.
